Valentine’s Day is around the corner and we are stopping you right in your tracks from purchasing boring wine bottles (Pink Moscato we love you but not this year!)

Welcome to our Valentine’s Day cocktail/mocktail boot camp where we provide you with the perfect recipes to spice up your drinks this year and wow your other half (You might even get an early ring because of it!)

Whether you are celebrating with your spouse or hosting a Galentine’s/Palentine’s Day mixer we’ve got you covered, so take a step into our cabinet…

Let’s start with the cocktails to get you feeling some type of way…

The Love Bird

A delicious blend of strawberry and orange flavours giving the perfect balance of floral, citrus and subtle sweetness.

Ingredients:

50ml Bayab African rose water gin

25ml Strawberry puree

25ml Fresh orange juice

25ml Aquafaba

Agave (1 bar spoon)

A few dashes of Aromatic bitters

Method:

1) Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker

2) Dry shake, add ice and shake again

3) Double strain into a bird glass

Garnish:

Rose petals

Flat Cap’s Cherry Bakewell Tart Sour

A sweet and mouth-puckering cherry sour. For those who like it sweet and sour, this is perfectly accompanied by cherry and vanilla-flavoured rum.

Ingredients:

50ml Flat cap vanilla and cherry rum
25ml Amaretto
25ml Maraschino syrup
25ml Egg white
Half a lemon
Half a lime

Method:

Add all the ingredients into a shaker and dry shake (without ice)
Add ice and shake again
Pour into a chilled coupe glass

Garnish:

Maraschino cherry

Strawberry Baileys Swirl

Indulge in your 5 favourite things; booze, chocolate, strawberries, whipped cream and sprinkles!

Ingredients:
25ml Baileys
25ml Rum
50ml Coconut milk
25ml Strawberry syrup

Method:
1) Dip the rim of a coupe glass into melted milk chocolate and place in a freezer

2) Add baileys, coconut rum, coconut milk and strawberry syrup to a shaker

3) Pour into the glass, top with whipped cream and decorate with sprinkles and strawberry syrup

Garnish:
Chocolate covered marshmallow
Milk chocolate rim
Whipped cream
Drizzled strawberry syrup
Sprinkles
Chocolate covered strawberry

Love Potion

A sweet and tart raspberry cocktail packed full of tangy, crisp and refreshing flavour.

Ingredients:

50ml Raspberry flavoured Bacardi rum

25ml Triple sec

6 Muddled raspberries

25ml Homemade sweet and sour mix

Fresh squeezed lime juice

Dash of tonic water

Method:

1) Muddle raspberries and sweet and sour mix in a shaker

2) Add ice, rum, triple sec and a squeeze of lime juice

3) Shake, then pour into a sugar-rimmed glass

4) Top with tonic water

Garnish:

3 frozen raspberries in a lime cup

Under the Mistletoe

Who said Christmas cocktails can’t be remade in February? This strawberry and hibiscus blend is giving Valentine’s Day in a glass!

Ingredients:

50ml Strawberry infused gin
50ml Hibiscus syrup
25ml Lemon juice
25ml Gin spiked strawberry puree

Method:

1) Add strawberry-infused gin, hibiscus syrup, strawberry puree and lemon juice to a shaker with ice

2) Shake, then strain into a glass

Garnish:

Sliced strawberries, hibiscus and lemon slices
Lime cup with strawberries, mint and hibiscus
Crushed dried hibiscus flowers

For the mocktail lovers:
50ml Strawberry puree
50ml Hibiscus syrup
25ml Lemon juice
Top with soda water

Method:

1) Shake the ingredients minus the soda water and pout into a glass over ice

2) Top up with soda water

Strawberry & Elderflower Mojito

An all-time classic strawberry and elderflower cocktail packed full of fresh fruity and flagrant taste.

Ingredients:

50ml White rum 

15ml Strawberry syrup 

15ml Lime juice 

15ml Elderflower syrup 

Soda water 

Lime wedges 

Mint leaves 

Method: 

Add some slices of strawberry, lime, mint and brown sugar to a glass and muddle 

Add white rum, lime juice, elderflower syrup, strawberry syrup and crushed ice 

Top with soda and stir 

 

Garnish: 

Strawberry, lime and mint

Gunna Berry Smash

A gin lover’s dream featuring raspberries. The perfect combination of floral and fruity notes nicely topped up with raspberry soda for a bubbly sensation!

Ingredients:

50ml Bombay Saphire Gin 

15ml Raspberry syrup 

25ml Lime juice 

Top with Gunna raspberry lemonade 

Method: 

1) Rim the glass with a lime wedge then dip into sugar 

2) Add a layer of blueberries, ice, raspberries and more ice and a sprig of mint 

3) Pour 15ml of raspberry syrup, 25ml of lime juice, 50ml of gin, and top it up with Gunna raspberry lemonade 

 

Garnish: 

Mint, raspberries, blueberries, lime wheel, sugar rim

Watermelon Rum Cooler

Whizz up a combination of watermelon, pink lemonade, rum and grenadine in your blender for a juicy concoction.

Ingredients:

1 cup of diced watermelon (deseeded) 

1 cup ice 

½ cup of white rum 

¼ cup of lime juice 

½ cup of pink lemonade

Watermelon syrup (Pour according to desired sweetness) 

Dash of grenadine syrup  

 

Method: 

Add all the ingredients into a blender  

 

Garnish: 

Watermelon sweets 



How to make watermelon syrup: 

Add 1 part sugar and 1 part water and boil in a pot  

Blend watermelon in a blender 

Once sugar has dissolved add the blended watermelon and simmer on medium heat for 10 mins 

Using a strainer net, remove pulp and pour syrup in to a bottle  

Allow syrup to cool completely before using 

Now, for the non-alcoholic options because the 0% crew matter too…

Lover’s Delight

A mouth-puckering, sweet and sour raspberry blend in a stunning rose glass!

Ingredients:

50ml Sentia Red (or another non-alcoholic spirit alternative of your choice)

25ml Lime juice

6 Fresh Raspberries

12.5ml Raspberry Syrup

Method:

Muddle fresh raspberries in a cocktail shaker

Add Sentia red, lime juice and raspberry syrup and shake

Double strain into a glass

Garnish:

Rose glass

Rose petal and raspberry on a skewer

Dragons Delight

A sophisticated and fruity peach and dragonfruit blend.

Ingredients:

50ml Sentia Red (or another non-alcoholic spirit alternative of your choice)

25ml Dragonfruit syrup

25ml Peach puree

12.5ml Lemon juice

Method:

Add all of the ingredients into a shaker, shake over ice and strain into a glass

Garnish:

Dried dragonfruit

Wild Berry Medley

A rich and fruity wild berry blend with sweet and bitter notes and a touch of kombucha.

Ingredients:

50ml Sentia Black (or another non-alcoholic spirit alternative of your choice)

50ml Cranberry juice

25ml Bitter Monin

10ml Blackberry syrup

10ml Blueberry syrup

Top with Counter Culture spiced blackcurrant sparkling light kombucha

Method:

1) Shake all the ingredients and pour into a glass filled with ice and wild berries

2) Top with soda

Garnish:

Mixed berries

Lime cup

Peach & Thyme Bliss

A fruity and earthy blend of peach and thyme.

Ingredients:

50ml Sentia Red (or another non-alcoholic spirit alternative of your choice)

25ml Peach puree

12.5ml Thyme syrup

Top with Soda

Method:

1) To a shaker, combine Sentia Red, peach puree, and thyme syrup.

2) Shake well with ice and strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

3) Top the cocktail with soda

4) Gently stir to combine

Garnish:

Peach slices on a skewer
