Apple and Elderflower Cooler

We had the pleasure to create recipes for Kromanti Rum and our aim was to select fruits and ingredients with the flavour profile to best compliment the tamarind spiced rum.

This cocktail is honestly just yummy freshness and perfect on a hot summers day!

The apple and elderflower flavour combo is undefeated and has a perfect balance of a tangy, crisp and floral taste.

This cocktail is perfect for those that usually go for light and fresh cocktails such as the mojito.

The smooth nature of the spiced rum also blends in seamlessly and supports the light weight nature of the the drink.

Flavour profile: Floral, fresh, spiced, crisp, tangy

Ingredients:

25ml Spiced rum

25ml Elderflower Liqueur

25ml Cloudy apple juice

10ml Lime juice

15ml Honey

Top with ginger ale

Green apples

Mint

Method:

1) Muddle 3 lime wedges and mint in a long glass

2) Fill a glass with crushed ice, mint and thin apple slices

3) To a shaker, add kromanti rum, elderflower liqueur, cloudy apply juice, lime juice, honey and shake over ice.

4) Pour into the glass and top up with ginger ale
