3 Gourmet Cocktail Toppers To Elevate Your Mimosas

An easy guide to show you how to create grapefruit, mandarin and raspberry-flavoured mimosas, using delicious gourmet cocktail toppers!

Why Mimosas?

I was recently gifted a set of gourmet cocktail toppers from a colleague at work for christmas. This was super exciting because up until that point I had never used or heard of them.

I was racking my brain trying to think of how I can best showcase the mimosas, especially because the recipe was so simple, I wanted to make the garnish stand out as much as possible.

I decided to go for the classic sugar rim and bold, statement fruit for garnish.

When is the best occasion to make mimosas?

Usually, I would think breakfast/brunch when it comes to the types of occasions you would have mimosas. However, because I was given them over the Christmas period, I couldn’t think of a more perfect occasion to enjoy them, which was new years eve.

It was also a great excuse to swap out traditional and very boring prosecco/ champagne, for a fun and fruity alternative.

Wouldn’t raising a glass and counting down from 10 on the 31st of December be more fun with a pretty-looking drink?

Ps. I’ve never really enjoyed plain prosecco/champagne, I just drink it to look and feel grown up!
