Spiced Peach & Tamarind Daiquiri

A guide on how to make a delicious spiced peach & tamarind daiquiri.

We had the pleasure to create recipes for Kromanti Rum and our aim was to select fruits and ingredients with the flavour profile to best compliment the tamarind spiced rum.

Tamarind has a very sweet and sour flavour profile so we wanted to make a cocktail that can support this.

We made a tamarind syrup to heighten the tamarind notes in the drink and also add the much needed sweet balance to the sour daiquiri.

Lastly, who doesn’t love peach in a cocktail! The peach added such a well rounded, cozy and autumn feel to the drink and went perfectly with the spiced rum.

Flavour profile: Fruity, sweet, sour

Ingredients:

50ml Kromanti rum

50ml Peach puree

15ml Peach schnapps

25ml Lime juice

15ml Tamarind syrup

15ml Orange juice

Alterations: If you are unable to get hold of tamarind concentrate to make the tamarind syrup, substitute it with honey. This will then make a spiced peach & honey daiquiri.

Method:

Add all the ingredients to a shaker and pour through a strainer into a coupe glass

Peach wedge on a cocktail pick
