Candy Cane Cosmo
A guide on how to make a minty, fresh and fruity candy cane cosmo.
I wanted to incorporate some festive candy for the Xmas series and what is prettier than candy canes!
I was in two minds whether to do candy cane infused vodka or syrup. I went for the sweeter option and made a tasty candy cane syrup which adds the perfect minty sweetness to the cocktail.
Flavour profile: Sweet, refreshing, citrus
Ingredients:
50ml Vodka
25ml Candy cane syrup
50ml Cranberry juice
25ml Orange juice
25ml Lime juice
Method:
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish:
Crushed candy cane rim

For the Mocktail lovers:
50ml Candy cane syrup
25ml Cranberry juice
25ml Fresh orange juice
25ml Lime juice
Candy cane syrup:
Add candy canes to equal parts sugar and water
Continuously stir until completely dissolved
Cool down completely before using
