Lime Skittles Cocktail
A guide on how to make a tasty lime skittles cocktail as part of the skittles cocktail series!

The green lime skittles has always been a favourite of mine since childhood. I always wished skittles would make a packet which contained only the green skittles (unfortunately, I am yet to find this in the UK).
I gathered that I would be doing my inner child a disservice if I didn’t create an all-green skittles cocktail as part of the skittles cocktail series of this blog!
Not only is this cocktail rich in colour, but it also tasted amazing with bursting juicy flavours from the lime, mint and hint of coconut flavour from the Malibu.
How to make green skittles vodka:
The homemade skittles vodka was made by separating green skittles and placing them into a small bottle. The bottle was then filled with vodka and placed in the fridge for 24 hours. Using filter paper, the mixture was then filtered in order to remove any remaining hard shell residue.

Ingredients:
50ml Homemade lime skittles vodka
25ml Malibu
12.5 Lime juice
12.5 Lime and mint cordial
Top with lemonade
Method:
Add lime skittles vodka, malibu, lime juice, lime and mint cordial and ice to a shaker and shake
Pour into a glass of ice and top with lemonade
Garnish:
Garnish with a lime wheel, green skittles and mini cool shot bottle
