Skittles Vodka
A guide on how to make skittles vodka. You are just two ingredients away from tasting the alcoholic rainbow!
After indulging in the tipsy bartender's content, I caught the candy bug! I decided to go all-in and finally give the candy x alcohol concoction a try. Blending sweets with alcohol was quite the experiment, I felt like a scientist (minus the white jacket).
Putting this together was a messy but fun experience and came out much better than I thought it would. The reason I doubted is because you see a lot of Tik Tok/ Instagram recipes that well...don't work in real life! But I was pleasantly surprised at how well the vodka took the skittles taste (just make sure you let it sit overnight)

Top tip: Filter the vodka twice using filter paper to remove the leftover layer of skin from the hard shells.

Ingredients:
Skittles
Vodka
Method:
Split the skittles into colour groups and place each colour in jar/bottle
Add vodka to each jar and leave over night
Place filter paper in a funnel and filter the liquid into a jar
Repeat twice until the vodka is clear of any residue
Pour each colour into a shot glass and garnish with a sugar rim
Garnish:
Run a sliced lime along the rim of the shot glass
Dip into a plate full of sugar
