Skittles Orange Drop
A guide on how to make the skittles orange drop cocktail as part of the skittles cocktail series!

The vibrant colour of this cocktail is so pretty I had to make it stand out even more by adding some contrast and creating a white foam using egg whites.
The egg white adds enough texture to the drink and allows the skittles and the orange slice to sit nicely on top of the pillow of foam.
How to make orange skittles vodka:
The homemade skittles vodka was made by separating orange skittles and placing them into a small bottle. The bottle was then filled with vodka and placed in the fridge for 24 hours. Using filter paper, the mixture was then filtered in order to remove any remaining hard shell residue.

Ingredients:
50ml Orange skittle vodka
25ml Malibu
12.5ml Lime juice
12.5ml Lime and mint cordial
25ml Egg white
25ml Orange juice
Method:
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and dry shake (without ice)
Add ice and shake
Pour into a glass of ice and garnish with an orange wheel and orange skittles
