There are so many things you can do with skittles I wish I had the time to do it all! As part of the skittles series, I decided to include a mocktail in the mix.

This drink is just as good as the skittles cocktail from the previous post minus the alcohol and is super easy to make.

I do sometimes get tired of alcoholic cocktails so the alcohol-free option comes in handy!

This drink can also be prepared as a batch ‘punch style’ drink for kids' parties. Once the kids set their eyes on a drink that includes their favourite candy, they will flock, so ensure you prepare enough to go around!

Using a rolling pin, hit the skittles until some of it turns to dust

Rim the glass with a slice of lime

Dip the rim in a plate of skittles dust and white sugar

Method:

  1. Fill a ¼ of a jug up with skittles originals (mixed colours)

  2. Place in the fridge for 20mins

  3. Separate the skittle shells using filter paper and serve over ice

Adjustments:

  1. To add extra flavour pour ¼ of mango juice into the jug
